HEALTH

Seller states the puppy you are purchasing is healthy at the time of sale.  For purpose of this agreement, once the puppy leaves the seller's premises, it is under the buyer's control.  Notice of any problem with said puppy must be received within 72 HOURS in the manner described below.

 

1. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a reputable veterinarian within 72 hours from the  time of delivered said puppy.  If the veterinarian establishes a MAJOR problem (internal, external parasites, coccidia, giardia, and kennel cough excluded) with the puppy upon initial examination, puppy may be returned at this time.  Seller reserves the right to have the puppy examined by a vet of seller's choice, before exchange is made.

2.  Puppy is guaranteed for 72 HOURS from the time and date delivered to buyer against infectious diseases such as Parvo, Corona, or Distemper.

3.  Puppy is guaranteed for 1 year from birth date of said puppy against genetic defects.

4.  All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the pet owner.

 

RETURNS

Seller will consider a replacement puppy or refund of monies only if the conditions detailed in the "Health" section are met.  If the puppy has not visited the Veterinarian as agreed, within the 72 hour time frame, if problem with the puppy is found and the breeder is not notified immediately following the exam there will be NO exchange or monies refunded.

1. To return a puppy, notify the breeder to set up a date for returning the puppy.  The original veterinary report and registration papers must be returned to the breeder. 

2.  Buyer will be given the option of receiving another puppy or refund of purchase price.  If buyer chooses to get another puppy, the puppy will be replaced with one of comparable value.

3.  In the event of death of puppy within the 72 HOUR guarantee period, buyer will take the deceased puppy to a veterinarian of his choice for the purpose of an autopsy at the buyers expense.  A statement from the vet must be provided along with the microchip number to the breeder of cause of death.  Buyer must give authorization to the vet for the breeder to contact them for more information.  If the puppy died of natural causes of a warrantable condition, a replacement puppy or refund will be provided to the buyer.  However, if trauma or neglect is found to play a role in the demise of the puppy in any manner or fashion, then no exchange will be forthcoming.

4.  No guarantee is made as to disposition, conformation, or breeding ability.

5.  It is impossible to accurately determine the EXACT adult size of any puppy sold, therefore, we cannot give any size guarantee.  Size estimates are based on bloodline, age and size of puppy at time of sale.

6.  We do require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy of your choice.  In the event of the puppy's premature death prior to delivery to the buyer the seller agrees to refund the deposit to the buyer.

7.  Buyer must contact seller if at anytime buyer is unable to keep the puppy or provide puppy with a healthy happy home. The puppy will then be returned to the seller at buyer's expense. NO refund of monies will be returned to the buyer.

 

I have read, understand, and agree to these terms and limitations.   Also, I consider this to be a legally binding document.
