5-27-07   Hi Johnny and Paula-
I wanted to send you an update on Hallie (aka 'Showgirl').  She is 22 weeks old and just over 30 pounds, and still growing.  She is doing well and is becoming a great pet.  She is very good with my two little boys, as well as the family cat.  She stays in the house with us most of the time, but likes to play in the backyard and go on walks.  We've almost gotten her ears trained.  She only barks when she is playing with the cat, or finds a family of frogs in the backyard.  The only noise she makes in the house is when she snores (which is every time she falls asleep) ;)
We want to thank you again for breeding such a high-quality pup.  More pics will follow.
Take care,
Glen S. in OKC (owner of Hallie, born 12/24/2006)

4-27-07 Paula,   Hello, this is Samantha  I purchased Snowball, who is now Marty (after the OKC Blazers #8 Marty Standish). Just wanted to send you some pics and give you an update. Marty is doing wonderful. He's very smart and not like other boxers, because he's calm, attentive and very contemplative; even the vet said she'd never seen a boxer pup so laid back (which is great!) He's almost potty trained and only 11wks old! We take him to the Lake Hefner dog park every weekend and he loves playing with the other dogs. We also started puppy classes at K/9 University where Marty is the teachers pet already! Michael and Marty are practically inseparable (as you can probably tell by the picture). Thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family and I'll keep sending progress reports if you'd like.

Sincerely,   -Samantha

Paula,

Sorry it has taken so long to write.  Ever since my husband and I received Tyson from you our lives have been filled with joy.  He is a blessing to us.  He likes to go for hikes in the mountains, run around crazy like in a big open field, he even likes to swim now (after several attempts of getting used to the water).  Tyson graduated from obedience school a couple months ago and listens very well.  He loves to play with children and other dogs.  Tyson especially loves to sleep on the couch, and he is very very cuddly.  I've attached some pictures of him, he is healthy and well.  We are thinking about adopting a boxer from a boxer rescue soon, so Tyson can have a playmate.  Happy New Year!  And thank you for a wonderful, beautiful dog.

Sincerely, Nate and Kristen

Dear Paula

The kids named our little boxer Cloey, they love her so much and she loves them too.

What a wonderful puppy, she has filled our hearts with so much love, laughter, and

smiles we have enjoyed her so much.  You have done such a great job with her that

people at the vet have asked for your web site so they could view other boxers you

have. We are attaching some photos of her, that you may like to see and we will send

you more as time passes.

Hello Paula and Johnny!

How are you all doing over there?  It has been awhile since I wrote to you but here are the news.  Yesterday, Kyra received her BH title which is a prerequisite to Schutzhund1 under the judgment of Johannes  Grewe.  Since becoming the members of  Somis Schutzhund club in June of 2007 she worked really hard on getting the routine done correctly.  I am so proud of by baby girl, she is going to be 2 years of age in 2 days and she has already done so well in so many fields.  She likes being on the training field, jumping, playing (which is the biggest part of our training and we love that, we have wonderful trainers!)  and running off leash.  Sine Kyra  is not out of the boxer working lines I don’t think it is in her nature to do the protection phase of Schutzhund sport, even though she can always protect herself.  We will still try, but at that moment our next step will be on focusing on the tracking and high level of obedience phase of this sport.  However, at the end of January or beginning of February our club is holding the AD trial.  So Kyra and I better start our bike training to past the endurance test.  I think she enjoys these parts of her life, she always gets excited knowing she is going to drive in a kennel to her training field or anywhere else.  She has grown up to be such a wonderful loving member of my small family, but she is still such a puppy in her head.  She is happy, healthy and

enjoying her life.  And this is the most important thing for me and her.  I am

sending you a few pics from our BH trial and of course some of her funny ones as

usual.  She never stops making me laugh.  She is just such a wonderful precious

friend.  Have a wonderful time during

this holiday time.

We will talk to you soon.

Hey Paula,

I just wanted to let you know that our puppy Louie is doing amazing.  We couldn’t be happier.  So smart, so well behaved I do not want to Jinx myself but he is doing great.  Anyways Happy New Year, and thanks for making our family complete.  I saw you had some new puppies, we would like to bring a brother or a sister home to Louie.  Would you recommend another boy or girl.  Do boxers do better with same sex dogs as companions or the opposite sex.  Would you please let me know, also when u get pictures would you send them our way.  Looking for one that has some great coloring like Louis.

Cheers

Jaime

Just an quick update on Driver, and I've been meaning to do this for some time, sorry it's taken so long.
I have an 85lb boxer.  He is so much bigger then any other boxer I've ever seen.  He's all muscle.  I take he running once a day, me on my mtn bike, Driver riding beside, or often these days ahead of me.  He loves, LOVES the water, and knows the trails so well, that a quarter mile from the water he takes off on me and when I get to the stream, he's just jumping head long into the waters.  We play fetch for a bit and get back on our run.  He's up to seven and a half miles a day.  and on a day I miss the ride, do I have a full blown energy unit on my hands.  I've attached a couple of photos for you to see he landed softly in Va.
Picture 58 is driver last June, he's much bigger now.  I'll send a recent photo soon, Dan

Hi, Paula.

Just a quick update for you..  Maverick is FABULOUS.  Totally NUTS like a puppy should be!  He Has to be close to 20 pounds by now, eating well, drinking normally and pooping like a machine.  I had to buy a new crate for my bedroom—to replace the one he was shipped in because he is too big.    We woke up on Saturday morning and Stephen was looking at him in his little crate telling me he thinks Jake, our old boxer, is in there.  He thinks he’s too good to be brand new to us– that he must have known us already.  So, the day went on and we went to the 3rd of our 6 training classes—the course/school is called “People Training for Dogs”.  For the first time at class, the instructor borrowed Mav to demonstrate several things to the other 3 dogs in the class.  After a couple of times, she said there was “something” about him when she looked at his face—something she can’t put her finder on—an “essence”…

So here are a couple of recent photos to remind you of how stinkin’ handsome he is.

Hi Paula,

I would love to tell others how wonderful your puppies are as an inside family member!!  Not a back yard and

We forget about them….

Your pups need to all be inside family members so you get all the LOVE they give you.  Allie is a kisser!! (Licker).  She

Already sits, comes, stays, and crate.  She also retrieves and brings her toy back to you.  We are working on drop.  She

Doesn’t like drop just yet.  But she LOVES to get to the park and RUN!!  She is FAST!! And strong, yet very gentle when it

Comes to the kiddos, human children that is.  They LOVE her too! It was a match made in heaven that Allie was suppose

To be with us!!

FYI -  Allie has been entered into the puppy of the month her in Dallas.  If she  WINS, I’ll forward you the magazine.

Later!!

Hey :Paula,

I wanted to send you an email to update you on BIG BOY aka Louie.  He was born in your litter last Oct.  He is amazing, so smart, so loving and above all so special.  He was potty trained, I kid you not in two weeks when we brought him home in December..  He has adjusted so well to living in the city of Boston.  Loves the dog park, the beach, and we cant get him out of the water.  Such a swimmer.  As we chatted before I work the third shift as a nurses. Its such a great feeling when I come home in the morning and see my boy.  You have done a wonderful job with your dogs.  I get raves where ever I go with Louie, about his behavior, his temperament and above his amazing markings. Louie has been socialized with everyone and he goes with us everywhere.  I have attached some pictures.

I think we will be ready for a pup in about October or so.

Not sure what your plans are with pups. Please let me know

Jaime

These are just a few of the emails I have received about our wonderful dogs thorough out the years!

Hi Paula-  I just wanted to update you on our girl, Bay'ah from Iceman and Roxy's 3/3/08 litter.  She is already 5 months old!  Eric and I can't believe how much she has grown, we still have to look through the pictures when she was sleeping comfortably on our laps.  Now, she will sleep half on us, half on the couch.  She is extremely spoiled, but we enjoy it so much.  Bay'ah is really smart, she already knows sit, paw, down, and roll...and she knows those commands in Spanish too. We bring her everywhere we can and get dozens of compliments and stories from people who have had Boxers, and all I've ever heard was positive stories on the breed. Our neighbor fell in love with her too, he came home with a Boxer puppy about a month ago...the two of them together are quite the pair, I will send you pictures.  I just wanted to say thank you again, and I think you and your family have done such a good job with these dogs. I will send you updated pictures soon, I think the last time I sent you pictures she was 3 months, so you've got to see her now, she's beautiful.

I’ll talk to you soon.

He was a little rough with the kittens at first but he calmed down after a bit. Since I work for the veterinarian I often bring home little ones to foster so Marty is getting used to having lots of little baby brothers and sisters to play with. That is until they get old enough to adopt out. We took him camping with us this past weekend. The ranch house was worried that a puppy might destroy the cabin but we assured him that he was very well behaved. Good 'ol Marty left the place exactly as he found it. Sleeping through the night and taking care of business outside. We had a great time hiking in the woods and swimming in the lake together!
